Why do online Islamists pretend every organic social justice movement is a nefarious Western plot to upend Islamic culture?
It seems to me, they're even more exploitable by their own men who should be protecting them, yet non of you ever talk about it unless a woman or the gaals notice it and when they do, all you do is scream 'feminist!'. Its very obvious, that many of you lot are completely fine with what is going on back home and any woman who speaks about her experiences is shut down with 'gaal explotation!', when your own women can't even get justice for rape. Honestly, get out of here.Because Somali girls, especially "feminists", are easily exploitable by those who have bad intentions for Somalis, Islam, and Somalia. No question about the harsh reality of the women back home, and the need to have it changed, but it seems that genuine need can be easily exploitable by the forces who are waging war on Islam.
I'm glad this woman has the freedom to do what she pleases. She looks greatFolks, who told Somali girls to shake their booties online? This is really embarrassing. It is like they were let out of jail and they recently found their freedom. Disgusting if you ask me.
Someone should have a firm control on Somali girls. I am against rape and any forms of mistreatment. But the moment Somali girls find themselves with so much "freedom", they become out of control. Shaking their booties online, describing men's genitals, etc, their motto in social media is really embarrassing.
The only exception to the rule are the religious ladies.
What does the behavior of a small minority have to do with the mistreatment of Somali women. You're indirectly trying to justify their issues.Folks, who told Somali girls to shake their booties online? This is really embarrassing. Funny how a woman talking about her own experiences is exploitation, but if a man was to talk about his experience of poverty and difficulty back home it isn't. Both situations make the country look bad, yet its a woman's honest account of her day and to day life is triggering? Yep clear silencing tactic tbh.
I saw a video of a woman talking about rape back home. Everyone knows this is an issue and some of you sick Abdis were crying about feminism in the comments section. That is when I knew that the blood and dignity of Somali women mean nothing to some of you lot.

Its akin to me posting a video of Somali men behaving bad, in which i could find plenty when we're having a conversation about how difficult things are for men back home.
Like what does a silly girl behaving badly online have to do with the mistreatment of our girls back home? Do you honestly think people are dumb? Its clearly your way of saying, 'if we start to treat them with dignity, then even more will behave disgustingly online'.
If that isn't your intention, then wallahi its really odd why you've decided to talk about this in this thread.
Lol, in nearly every situation of the issues of Somalis, there has been documentaries from the war to the Qarxiis conducted from certain groups, yet Somali men going on camera talking about it, which sadly makes the country is look bad doesn't seem to be an issue, but the moment when the other 50% of Somalis talk about their personal experiences as well, that is when you care about your country reputation?! Please explain how these documentaries about qarxis, corruption and poverty helps Somalis? If you want to talk about the problems faced by Somali women back home, you need to talk about it on daily basis, launch a campaign at many levels to change it. Don't go to BBC for publicity stunt and took a picture of your circumcised vagina and show it to the world while blaming it on Somali men.
Be genuine if you want to make a difference back home. Engage with women, clan elders, different authorities, and religious scholars. Be consistent and make sure you want solutions. And spare us with your occasional publicity stunts in Western media where you all do bring is shame.
Lastly, it seems Kay Foster and Halane junta are funding some women groups and highlighting problems women back home when their goal is grabbing Somali natural resources and changing Somalia's Islamic character.
Wallahi the hypocrisy is strong. Funny how when it comes to any other situation, you have no issues with gaal media reporting it.I'm acknowledging the problems faced by women and IDPs (Internally displaced peoples) back home. I have seen it first-hand when I visited back home. I want their situation changed for the better.
I believe solutions lie within Somalis. Some can be done at clan elders and women groups. Some can be changed by having stable central and regional governments. And some can be fixed by educating the youth. This is an enormous effort that requires genuine people who are doing it for the sake of Allah (swt).
Definitely, women who go to kuffar media and who work with Allah's enemies will not bring solutions to Somalis.

The solution should lie with Somalis, but those that have the power, basically the men never want to acknowledge it. The only time this conversation is had is situations in which you lot are calling a girl a feminist or Western influenced when they dare to talk about the experiences of women back home. The same guys silencing the women NEVER talk about it in any other scenario. If we were having internal dialogues about this as a community in the 1st place, we'd be finding solutions and this embarrassment wouldn't be reaching gaals in the 1st place.
Answer my questions:Believe it or not, if anyone is a hypocrite here, it is you. If you're genuine about the issues faced by Somali women, why not engage at the grassroots level? Why throw a fist when you only see a story in Western media once in a blue moon; or when you see a girl posting her private parts in social media, complaining about female circumcision and blaming it on Somali men? You just blow with the wind and, just like Westernized feminazi, you just throw the blame on Somali men.
Lastly, not sur why women who married non-Somali men have an obsession on Somali men? It is usually 2 groups of people who enjoy Somali laundry to be in the spotlight constantly: 1) Ex-Muslims; 2) Westernized feminazis who either married or are in a relationship with non-Somali, non-Muslim men. The whole intention is never about helping Somalis back home; it is about changing Somali people's character!
