No slander will be tolerated. Somaliweyn is very diverse on its own and beautiful in all regards. God really blessed us, and today we got many people who are envy of our land. :rejoice:

Being flat and having vast arid land doesn't remove the diverse landscape we have. I'd never trade having the longest coastline in Africa for the somewhat green land of Ethiopia (excluding the Somali inhabited eastern regions).

Speaking of Ethiopia, even if they occupy part of our land; it's doesn't remove that those very same land are very blessed as well.

Somali lands?

In the Futux it is noted that some area named "Jalbi" between Bale and proper Somali territory was under Somali control at one point:

So then the Muslims, provisioned from Kidad, set off in the direction of Bali
until they came to one of the Muslim provinces in the land of Jalbi, called Dalfal:
the market placc of Jalbi.

(Kidad is a Somali town in the country of the Somalis in the book)

It was while the Muslims were encamped in the region of Ayfars, that Farasaham ‘All came to them, accompanied by six knights and two-hundred foot- soldiers. He embraced Islam, and his conversion was genuine. This man had been a Muslim who had gone up from Jalbi, a Muslim district, at the time when the Somalis had taken control of it after the death of the Sultan Muhammad, may the Most High God have mercy upon him. He made up his mind to go up to the land of Abyssinia, with Ahmad Goita and soldiers from the people of Najab.

The author also mentions a river in Bale/Bali called "Wabi" which he doesn't seem to know is just the Somali word for river. Kek.

Then they organised themselves, and marched off towards Bali arriving at a placc known
as the Wabi, a mighty river that flowed through many countries. We mentioned it
earlier on in the book.

So it seems some sort of Somali presence was there but that it was ever truly, fully ours is a dubious claim to make.
