I'm not entirely sure but I know that in other parts of the Quran when Allah SWT mentions 'The Ruh' it's in reference to Jibril (AS). See example below:

Surah An-Naba, Verse 38:

يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الرُّوحُ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ صَفًّا لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابًا

The day on which the spirit and the angels shall stand in ranks; they shall not speak except he whom the Beneficent Allah permits and who speaks the right thing.

وَعَدَ اللّهُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتِ وَالْكُفَّارَ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا هِيَ حَسْبُهُمْ وَلَعَنَهُمُ اللّهُ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُقِيمٌ

68. “Allah has promised the hypocrite men and the hypocrite women and the infidels, the Fire of Hell, to abide in it forever. That is enough for them, Allah has cursed them, and for them is a lasting chastisement.”

We (Somalis) are all destined to hell. Allah doesn't want buuq and qeeylo in heaven.

Unfortunately most people are basically walking dead in terms of spiritual self realization. So they interpret the Quran through their own egos understanding, thereby limiting the way of Al Islam to their limited human mind.

That is why there are many secret schools in the Deen that most cannot even fathom. Take this Sahih hadith for example.


The words of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) referred to in the question are: “I memorised from the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) two vessels (of knowledge). As for one of them, I have disclosed it, but as for the other, if I were to disclose it, this throat would be cut.”

Narrated by al-Bukhaari (120).

It was narrated that Yazeed ibn al-Asamm said:

It was said to Abu Hurayrah: You have narrated a great deal, you have narrated a great deal. He said: If I told you everything that I heard from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), you would pelt me with stones and clods of earth, and you would not sit with me.

Narrated by Ahmad in al-Musnad (16/563). The commentators said: Its isnaad is saheeh.
