It doesn't make sense, I know. i know that its not as glorious or extravagant... More of a small desire on my end. Part of the male experience I guess.That's because you're one of those dew-eyed 'green' men that think there is glory in war.
I know someone who got deployed as an army foot soldier to Afghanistan last week. I doubt very many men would trade him places, except to escape misery and truly shitty prospects (like he did), or some young men that were sold a fake narrative on war that they soon unlearn.
