I think many Somali parents are either too strict or too relaxed.

Any man who is over the age of 30 and gets married to someone under the age of 20 is both a nonce and a manipulater. People are free to do what they want as long as both parties are consenting. But highlighting this reality isn't feminist. It is a fact that massive age gaps are a lot more common in poorer nations. If Somalia's GDP increases, education and the livelihood of men and women, you will find less girls will be willing to be in relationships with men 15+ older than them.
There is a reason why the majority of young women in developed countries prefer guys who are only a few years older than them. I think you'll find its the same everywhere even in poorer nations like Somalia, but sometimes our basic need for stability and sustenance over comes this.

Well it depends. 11 years difference sound like a lot between 17 and 28 but it's nothing if it's between 30 and 41 or even 25 and 36.
