I’m not from the UK. I didn’t know about the tensions between Somalis and blacks there. I go on twitter and see hella Somalis being racist and I join this forum and saw even more racism. It shocked me tbh. I thought only OG Somalis were racist, because all the young ones I know are not. I have no hate or love for blacks. I just thought they were being targetted unfairly. It ain't even that deep in real life. Most Somalis (even the 'racist' ones) have African/Yardie friends. It's actually fascinating that you said that, I was speaking to my friend who's nigerian - Igbo ethnic group. He grew up in nigeria, then came to the UK to do A-levels for uni.

He said the same thing as you, he said these 2nd gen lot (west - africans/nigerian) have this uppity attitude about them and he finds them 'iffy', plus they're also quite ignorant about their own cultures and want others to change their ways for them to feel more comfortable. I also found out from uni that the ones directly from the continent do not have this sense of superiority and are generally cool people.

I also agree with your view on the somali 'alt right' group, I personally can't make filthy jokes about slavery, showing images of humans being lynched to get back at them. Like If these madows chat shit about somalia, why not just hit back by stating facts about their own country of origin, because vast majority of their original countries are doing shit anyway.
