They're on the raise. I have two alone in my family and have friends who are as well.
Good for them, but anyway in my experience we need all the different roles and they're all important in their own unique way with the services they provide to the citizens.

Saxib, you're doing too much wallahi. Give up. I really can't believe you've compared professions that require degrees and diligence to becoming an ubber and taxi driver. They are essentially low skill jobs and are listed as that everywhere.

They're certifications that take from a day course or to a couple of weeks. I really can't believe you've tried to compare it to nurses and doctors which require scientific knowledge and is paramount for the health and development of a nation. Those roles are not equally as important. No nation or group sees it that way whatsoever.
You seem like a very haughty person, do you think society should kiss the feet of all health care workers? You know what the pandemic has taught me? It showed me that humans have no true agency when it comes to recovery from illness, most of it is up to pure chance and most importantly God's will. Try living in a society without low skilled workers and you will observe how quickly it can collapse.

Ah okay then. So we don't need doctors. Thanks for letting me know.

I believe Americans are more reliable on truckers than European countries, because our railroad infrastructure is more advanced than Americans.

Even though when I drive long ways our freeways are full of trucks & I thought about how dependent we are on truckers & their work.

100% agree. They really make big bucks out here Murica.

Carry on and do your thing, bro. We'll never see eye-to-eye with the Westernized Xalimos and the emasculated Faraxs in the West. At the end, the men in Somalia who are marrying multiple wives are populating the Horn with Somali genes and carrying the tradition. So the words of people who will die out in the West will not carry water at the end. It is the men and women back home who carry the Somali name and populating the Horn with our genes.
Aad iyo aad inadeer we are langaab as it is and some of these Westernized Halimos want to limit our growth. We already have a huge influx of Bantuization and Arabization in Somalia so we must keep our futre headstrong. Inshallah I plan to have 15 kids by my demise.

She is putting down the very men that keep this economy running. In Canada when the truckers started protesting grocery stores starting becoming more empty and everything is more expensive. They can literally shut down an economy as shown with the blockades. Its very sad how some Halimos who have a Gender Studies Degree look down on these essential hard working jobs.

Your landeernimo means nothing if future generations don't have adequate health care and infant mortality rate are high combined with a lack of security so people are out her getting blown up. Focus on that, rather than simply your calool and your lower parts. Even back home marrying again, divorcing and marrying again is at an all time high especially in Xamar, but ofcourse making children is more important than their actual development.

You know damn well, i've never looked down on them. Stating that unfortunately, society prizes professionals and health care workers isn't looking down.

Your own nation gives citizenships more to those with what they call 'higher skilled' workers and prefer those immigrants in Canada. Take it up with the world.

To simply put it, finding people to drive a truck and doing a day course is easier than those with higher skills and education. Should we be grateful to truckdrivers ect, of course! We definitely need them, but my point is being or shall I say becoming one is easier and doesn't require years of education, money put in and skills. I know i'm coming across as classist as unfortunately some people don't have the resources to go university and enter the middle class, so believe me my point wasn't to look down on them. My own father worked as a driver as a young man new to West to make money so that his sons and daughters would be able to get a decent education.

Since when are polygamous men allowed to display their wives like objects to brag about in public? I wonder if their families are happy with their daughters being paraded around behind a man like Gaddafi's bodyguards.

LOOK AT MEEEEEEE!
Funny how the narrative of 'gheerah' changes. If its a man being loving towards his wife and speaking highly of her, a lot of Somali men will see it as embarrassing, but parading your wives like you would a new sports car to showcase your wealth is admirable.

Not from America, but that is just society for you. We aspire to be doctors, lawyers, engineers, tech ect which requires prior education ect.

Also, truck driving is incredibly tiring. A person in tech puts in less hrs than a truck driver but still out earns them and their quality of life is better.

Like I said, everyone wants to put food on the table. Nothing wrong with Ubber drivers and truck drivers, but it is something people fall into.

Le me stop you here, sis. In Murica, a truck driver who owns his own his truck makes the salary of two highly paid engineers. They make roughly $15000 -$18000 per month. Sometimes, when they find contracts that run months, where they rake $30,000 a month. With the exception of fuel costs and truck repairs, the rest of money is going to their pockets.

When they file their taxes, they claim whole kinds of expenses where they don't pay any taxes. However, those of us in IT find our checks almost halved through deductions. The way the tax code is written, it is hugely beneficial to truck drivers.

Here in Murica, I know an Indian doctor who quit his profession, bought truck, and started driving it. When we asked him why, he stated taxes, law suits, and insurance carriers' constant deductions and lack of paying the bills or delaying them have been his issue. He stated he makes more money through driving trucks, no hassle, no lawsuits, and no insurance carriers denying his bills.

So in reality, it depends on where you are at and how much you can take home in a profession.
