Most Somalis speak Northern Somali which divides into North Western & North Eastern(that most people speak). North Eastern is obviously the clearest & the most formal. North westerners sound like hillbillys

reer bari all the way to mudug and maybe even galgaduud,is the clearest and purest form of somali. That being said those regions are closer to reer waqooyi in terms of accent. The reer xamar accent is weird, foreign and jileec af,owing to the cosmopolitan nature of that region.
Because they are speaking Somali not Chineselol reer bosaso speak 100% waqooye dialect. I didn't feel out of place at all watching this video
I'm a fob. born and raised in waqooye only speaking regions so I can immediately tell the differences between waqqoye and non waqooye dialects.Because they are speaking Somali not Chinese
That video reminds me of when @Al-Burcaawi was trying to shukansi ayan
af waqooyi is af somali with added unnecessary swearing basicallyGot a cousin Boosaaso, they speak af Reer waqooyi but don’t speak it at the same time, Idk why.
Slowly and different pronounces, they use other words aswell
That guy was probably a fake mjChill it’s not about certain tribes but people. I knew a Hawiye guy who didn’t speak soft Somali despite his family coming from xamar and an MJ guy who did speak with the soft xamari dialect.
af waqooyi is af somali with added unnecessary swearing basically
It's actually quite romantic. It is passionate, sensual, and almost euphonic
It is like french in that regard. Ladies never get enough of it.
Maybe. The only mj I ever dealt with and will deal withThat guy was probably a fake mj
Waryaa don’t start. What about reer waqooyi and their random insults. Simple questions turn into insults. Aabaha cuunee war kumee? Why do MJs have that rising intonation when they speak at the end of sentences like they’re asking you a question?
its very aggressive. Even when you said waa ku kaa, iga jawaab. It sounds aggressive. I dont think the language is designed for romantic. For example I tell a girl sit her. kalay fariiso...polite. reer waqooyi dee fariiso...ordering.Ur only watching Riwaayads, Tell me, do u think we swear when we’re talking to our parents or odays
Waa ku kaa, iga jawaab
