All the niggas calling reer Xamar soft are either skinny legged Farahs or big booty Bashirs.
Chill it’s not about certain tribes but people. I knew a Hawiye guy who didn’t speak soft Somali despite his family coming from xamar :banderas: and an MJ guy who did speak with the soft xamari dialect. :hova:

reer bari all the way to mudug and maybe even galgaduud,is the clearest and purest form of somali. That being said those regions are closer to reer waqooyi in terms of accent. The reer xamar accent is weird, foreign and jileec af,owing to the cosmopolitan nature of that region.

each reer should keep their own dialect. we waqooyes have more somalis that speak our dialect. north somalia (from bosaso to djibouti) and k5 somalis speak our dialect. thats too many people. even the OGs from kenya speak in waqooye dialect. may god bless the ogadens

Not exactly but a variation of it, yes.
it has to be eatheir mudug or waqooye. reer djibouti don't exactly speak like reer somaliland but they still fall under the waqooye dialect. I'ma watch some yt videos from bosaso and determine their dialect myself.

Im from northern puntland and to be honest its very close to waqooyi accent. But I could be biased since my mother is Dhulbahante and so is my grandfathers mother. But generally speaking reer Bari and waqooyi are similar but I wouldnt say its the same.
