Japan is a successful nation.

They were suffering from the cancer of Qabiil but were all ethnically japanese.

The meiji restoration reunited japan into one powerful east asian state that went on to rival the Americans

What do you think somalis can learn from them?

We are one homogeneous people with dozens of clan fiefdoms, what do you think we may be able to achieve if united?

My nigga you gave him some real facts

:kendrickcry:

The only problem is we need someone to invade us for everyone to be united LMFAO that is what happened in the meji period they saw how overpowered they were and were like guys lets become stronger or we are screwed.

You think an invasion will unite Somalis? LOOOOOOOOOOOL

Learn about the colonisation period. The existence of qabil means some groups will side with the invader to get the upper hand over their historical rivals. Qabil is here to stay unfortunately as there is no solution for it.

You can't side with a coloniser/Invader who isn't differentiating between any clan in that case yes we would be united for a bit. However, I am sure once they leave everyone would go back to being demons to eachother.

Qabiils may be here RN that's only cause people have nothing else going in their lives back home. It's just everyday faan your reer , I am sure in a modern society noone will have any real time or care enough to be how people act now. Yes still wackos around but they ain't leaving any time soon so can't be helped.

Somalia is doomed for failure eternally wallah. Imagine if i done such a poll in Somalia? lol.

A bunch of fake Nationalists like @Samaalic Era voted "Yes". Suprised that even the Atheist & Secular @Apollo voted "Yes".

Doomed is an understatement

Qabil and qaran are incompatible and the fact that most can't see this after 30 years of turmoil is the only proof I need to conclude that the 68 IQ thing is true

An invasion isn’t the solution. A few briberies and a strong leader + overthrow of the FGS to a centralised Government is what is needed.

You can’t invade them since they will all side with each other or with foreigners. You need to be smart and identify who are the major qabilists

Once identified, you bribe them out of politics and slowly incorporate all these fiefdoms with ease.

Education should be the next step.

Schools must be built with the oil money, Nationalism at the forefront.

With no elders, you have youth with no one to look up to except the Government and the Somali people.

Elders keep divisions. Find a common ground, divide them more and you make the situation worse. You never campaign against qabiils. Always keep quite and bribe these nomadic elders.

Campaigning against qabiils means assassination.

There much more peaceful than Somalis and don’t hate each other as much. They also respect their leaders.

Somalis has just as much oil and look at it.

The Gulf Arabs themselves don't have all that good of a social model, but at least the very hierarchal nature of their societies means the top (royals) can govern and successfully extract/sell their oil, andspread the wealth downward. Somalia's problem is there is no stable top , and every illiterate farax thinks he can have a say in how things are to be run, even if the idiot doesn't have any clue on anything beyond what the local toothless oday told him about Reer habel habel.”

Yes, Somalia needs a dictator to prosper (just like most countries in the Arab and Islamic world). Somalia had that for 20 years and was up there in the African stage. But it will never happen again. Somalia is doomed.

No, I wouldn’t.

I get asked so many times in real life and it almost like a drug to some people. I just see no purpose in qabiil these days. We have to make it irrelevant inshallah. Being a person is much more important than what clan u belong to. :)

Even developed countries like Saudi Arabia and the UAE who were like Somalis culturally still have not let go of it.

That's different, Arabs romanticize bedouin ideals even after undergoing rapid urbanisation. They also have large expat population that prepretuates Qabiil and perseverance of indigenous culture. In Saudi Arabia discrimination along clan lines is common during proposal for marriage. Often time certain clans marry exclusively from among each other.

In contrast with urban [magaal] Somalis who's impression towards Geeljire as rude hardy peasants whose sole purpose in life is looking for pastures and accumulating livestock.
