Kobe is all I ever knew smh. I remember the rivalries with Celtics in the 2000's, as well as the Lakers vs 76ers. His death is like an old family friend or childhood friend dying. I didn't pay much attention to him after his retirement (barely watched his farewell tour) and yet, his death really made me sad.

Tbh I know more about Kobe(celebrity in this case) than I do with somali kids in Somalia. Can you blame me for being born outside Somalia? And No, I'm not clueless about Somalia and its people. I still do, however I know more that happens in the US than in Somalia.

Personally I don’t cry , but watching Kobe play has been something I’ve done since I was born
