Strangely tho, when i first checked the news about terrorist attack in Kismayo, i though about her.

One thing that always impressed me about her was the fact she was optimistic about Somalia. And being very proud of it. She showed clips of different cities and always showed the kids. She sort of had a Peter Pan mentality. She left a great legacy that her boys can look up to. They’ll be proud of her when they see her videos and the people who will say great things about her.

Suicide bombings are a way of life in south Somalia. I had a lucky escape last year as well there was a bombing near my hotel in Mogadishu.

AUN to Hodan, her husband, and her expected child. Hodan had such a charming and vibrant personality and tried incredibly hard to make Somalia look like such a lovely nation to live in for all of us in the diaspora.
