Exactly! They will start attacking each other after these losses pile up blaming each other for what happened. An idea built on hate will only eat itself alive.

The good thing about this war is it has basically united Harti, lowered AS attacks and brought more businesses and peace to the rest of Somalia including Xamar. You can see how much port activity Garcaad and Bossaso have had recently.
Xamar, Garowe, Bossaso, Beledweyne etc will all have more investing opportunities from Somalis all over and multinational corporations who will venture and invest in these cities in the near future Inshallah.

If Somaliland misses this opportunity, it will be their last chance and then they will be confined to Waqooyi galbeed, Togdheer and Awdal. The war in Laas caanood costs them a million dollars daily and no matter how long it takes the occupier cannot stay longer.

If SL wanted a Somaliland Somalia deal that looked like a confederacy and the seat of government split they’d get it.

MJs can have their say in the HSM’s government like the Foreign Minister but that’s where the influence begins and ends. PL is a FMS like Galmudug and others, it’s part of Somalia

There will be a conditional solution that will lead Somaliland joining South Somalia again but with a referendum to decide their fate after 10 years and before that there will be power sharing on a North-South basis not 50/50 but they will be allocated for a large portion that includes all the Northern clans Dir/Isaaq and Daarood.
