We need to face reality, Somaliland will not join back into the republic while Hawiye and Darood keep switching between each other and they only get left with Deputy PM.

Somaliland will never get Independence, almost all our HAG Presidential candidates are 100% against their Independence from Sheikh Shariif, HSM, Xasan Ali kheire and AAW they are all firmly against it.

At best Somaliland will get Federal state split into 2 regions, sool and sanaag being it's own State.

One thing Isaaqs need to understand is that Hawiyes ain't their allies nor are Daroods so they need to fight like the Tigriyans for Independence (very unlikely) or start begging for ictiraaf 100 years more.

Somaliland has no say here it's Mogadishu Central government that has a say, Isaaq have been crying for more than 30 years for ictiraaf and nothing changed, so you suggesting an Hawiye President will give them Independence? Kkkkkk very very unlikely.

HAG will need incentives to give Somalilander their Independence and so far there is none, what does HAG or Darood gain from Somalilands Independence other than losing a piece of our country?

HAG for example would benefit since they don't live in SL except Fishqini plus they can rule all of the south instead of empowering Darod. We have been separated already for 30 years so there's nothing that will change for the worse if SL finally gets ictiraaf

Darood is little yet 25% of British Somaliland is Darod and around 30-50% of Italian Somalia is Darod.
