The English translation of Futuh Al Habesha by Pankhurst says that Emir Abu Bakr Governor of Hubat while the original arabic says Emir Abu Bakr was the Ruler of the Hawiye. Another mistranslation Qadhi of Hawiye changed to Qadhi of Hubat. These are just the ones that I found there are probably a lot more.

This one you have a case. It seems it says Abu Bakr a Hawiye Judge/Scholar.

Hubat isn’t spelled with Ta Marbuta that’s a ي not a ب
The dot is too long to be a ب the writer doesn’t write the dot that long

No they're all very different, for example that Arabic source makes a mistake which associated the tribe of Ahmed Ghirri with Habar Magaadle, when all the original manuscripts say it was Habar Maqdi, and many other events were altered
