In the coastal areas, there's going to be more fish consumption, but maybe not so much inland. Chicken is apparently more popular now, especially with the diaspora coming back home increasing the demand. This is all just what I've been told from a relative, haven't seen this for myself.

Yeah whenever I’ve visited, chicken was rarely made and was only ever eaten on occasions.

It used to be extremely rare since we preferred camel meat, beef and lambs but chicken and fish are taking their seat on our diet.
