The reason Somalis haven't abandon nomadism is because education is a luxury back home. If the people were given options and everybody was educated, the country would've had an educated class and bounced back from the civil war and strife.

Education is key to it all, wallahi Somalis would abandon even FGM too. The majority are not only uneducated but illiterate. That's the main issue.

Somali nomadism is dead. Nomadism existed when somalia had a vibrant healthy habitat where men and the environment existsed with harmony.

Somalia has turned into a desert because people have literally burned every single standing tree. Clowns. The whole lot
