Sudanese trolls have been making vile videos about Somalis for a while now, calling Somalis bantus, abeed and Zanji. Completely unprovoked and I suspect to gain relevancy as anything Somali related gets views due to the algorithm.

This recently hit fob Somali tiktok when a video made by a Sudanese troll went viral and they started responding with several videos.

I've met some Khaleejis and they certainly do have their own features and complexions, however, the differences between them and Shamis are not night and day.

a somali or someone who lived with a lot of somalis can tell the difference between somalis and sudanis. same thing for arabs. people who lived in the khaleej can usually tell the difference between levantines and khaleejis unless theres exceptions. also dress is a factor. khaleejis wear more traditional clothes and speak diferent etc. these are factors people ignore.

I don’t think you even need to live amongst them for an extended period of time in order to see the difference. The average person isn’t going to confuse a Yemeni with a Leb. I’m using Yemenis as an example because Gulf Arabs have a similar look. They look South Arabian and I know ones that look very tanned to such an extent that they’d stick out like a sore thumb in Shami countries. The differences between Khaleejis and Shamis is much larger than Sudanis and Somalis.
