I do feel quite sorry for K-POP and other idol stars, they are under a contract to never have any intimate relationships, very strict training regimes. Their social life outside their work is stripped away, hellish contracts etc

It was really bad in the 90s and the 2000s .Social media hardly existed but they were worse then today

Have you watched oshi no ko? The first season depicts the depressing reality of being an IDOL. Goated, although i'm equally disgusted by the manga

I’m more invested with the Korean idol industry than the Japanese one but I’ve heard some crazy stuff from Japan

It's not to different tbh, korean idol industry is just simply more mainstream. I've seen this cringe idol fest where it was just caadan discord mods with a japanese idol saying "brother". Very disgusting
