In my experiences, Xabashi men have a thing for Somali women and they're cute.
I've had lots of good interactions with Oromo men... they seem to be more outgoing and interested in Somali culture. Amhara men are either a bit shy and reserved or very ethnosupremacist lol and will tell you how their culture is ubermensch.

Somali men are handsome/tall on average but more stuck up and abrasive with how they act. The Somali men recently from Somalia know how to court better than Diaspora Somali men hands down.

Some are good-looking but most are average or have 0 appeal, they mostly lack in social skills and have a bland, rude and immature personality compared with fob somali men.

I think it's a matter of who's in closer proximity. A Muslim Ethiopian, let's say from Harar, is going to marry a Harari woman, or an Oromo Muslim woman, or a Muslim woman from the other ethnic groups that reside in that area. A Muslim Ethiopian in Jigjiga, who is a good Muslim, but happens to be oromo or silte or whatever, may marry a Somali sister, who knows...


In the diaspora, it's about proximity. I know of mixed somali-ethiopian families, and of even mixed ethiopian-indian families, they're all beautiful Allahuma Barik.
