In the U.S Somalis and xabashis marry each other quite a bit. I actually think it makes sense, of course I am talking about the Muslims. For example, growing up, I had Tigray neighbors who were Muslim, this is in the early 2000s. The dad was very religious, and his daughters married Somali in the end. I also know this old xabashi muslim man, in his 70s and his wife is Somali and you cannot tell they are not Somali until they speak or they tell you.

at least with east african intermarriage, kids don't come out looking cadaan or madow or indhayar.

In my experiences, Xabashi men have a thing for Somali women and they're cute.
I've had lots of good interactions with Oromo men... they seem to be more outgoing and interested in Somali culture. Amhara men are either a bit shy and reserved or very ethnosupremacist lol and will tell you how their culture is ubermensch.

Somali men are handsome/tall on average but more stuck up and abrasive with how they act. The Somali men recently from Somalia know how to court better than Diaspora Somali men hands down.
