Would you marry a schizophrenic?

My friend who has schizophrenia but doesn't have voices because he's found the right meds is getting married to a regular woman. I thought it was very taboo and off putting but some people are wonderful and overlook these things. It hel9s that he's good looking, works out, has a great paying job and is very educated. I was just thinking that if he was Somali he would never have met a sane person and settled down. Cadaans are really open minded.

Did you know that most schizophrenic people are actually the victims of crime and not the other way around? I would not be his friend if he was capable of that. I met him while he was sane and he's still the same friend to me. When he didn't take his meds he would speak gibberish or avoid me because he thought I could read h8s mind. Now that he's sane, he only takes one one injection once every three months and he earns more than me and socialises more than me. Honestly he's a catch.

No to be honest with you. I'm such a fulaay person, I get scared from the wind blowing the leaves on my window at night, I can't even imagine sleeping and worrying about if my spouse will shank me with a knife or choke me to death.

It's a shaytan that needs to be sent to naar, through massaging Quran onto their afflicted body. And thus the shaytan is obliterated through recitation and you're cured, like magic. I think it's a strong form of denial of their, bc who really thinks that.

According to my friend who is a psychiatric nurse, Somalis are terrible at seeking early intervention and are also bad taking their meds. She told me she hospitalised them more frequently than other ethnic groups and she blames the stigma and ignorance in our community against mental health.
