A significant portion of American debt is owned by the federal reserve

There the real problem since 1913 they turned the US from the world largest creditor into the worlds largest debtor and they took 98% of the value of the US dollar

most of the debt is owned by the US anyway so it doesnt matter, the issue lies with the debt owned by Japan and China, I think Japan in particular owns more US Bonds than any other country.

they do something similar when you apply for license and submit taxes. They ask if you want to donat to election fund and national parks. Its always something they want donations for I always wonder if anyone actually donates to the stuff
