Would you marry a high-maintenance man/woman?

IMO, no. I’d prefer a low-maintenance woman. They’re more likely to be loyal when the marriage hits a rough patch and it’s more satisfying to spoil them. I’m not sure as to what qualifies as a high maintenance man.

In all honesty, I don't think men care about women being high-maintenence as long as she has a good attitude and is respectful towards him. I've seen and heard of far to many cases of men becoming rich and dropping the average low-maintenance wife for a young beautiful woman who has never lifted a finger to help him.

Basically, men will claim to 'love' low-maintenance women when their funds are low. They treat these women as stepping stones so that they can marry the women they view as 9s and 10s. The women who would never look their way when they had nothing.

This isn't a topic a lot of men want to be honest about. But life has provided many examples. Also many of you guys know that the women you guys lust after aren't women who would look your way if you're not earning much.

I'd marry a woman deemed to be suitable when I'm getting married. I'd probably marry a woman compatible to where my dreams an ambition. I probably marry a woman who's not to much better looking than me. I really dontcare just about a woman's looks. You can be average looking female but have everything else I'd looking for a woman. I'd marry those types anyway.

Some men don’t want the stress that comes with a high maintenance woman while some don’t mind. I wouldn’t say men don’t mind in general. You’re forgetting how stressful a demanding spouse can be. You’ll be dedicating all of your time and money to them and if something happens then they’re gone and you’ll have no safety net.

I don't think Jeff's situation counts. He was with his wife for decades. He didn't up and leave as soon as he became very successful. Also, he left his wife for a woman who is the same age as him and his wife. I think his current girlfriend is in her 50s and a grandmother. She looks beautiful and looks stunning for her age though.
