I was thinking to join the British army, if I was an american I would want to be a state Trooper because you get to cruise down the interstate and helping people as well as responding to calls. Furthermore, you get to take home the squad car home

If it's the British army there's the obvious engineering, construction, radiographer, IT (cyber warfare), special vehicles license, Piloting, land mapping and environmental safety checker, avionics technician and a load more.

Special vehicles license can be expanded but that's just a tad bit too long, if they paid exceptionally well then I'd certainly join.

Did you see the recent exposeé (or whatever you call it) where soldiers were killing civilians for sport? Children too. That doesn't sound like killing terrorists to me.
