Word for Country

Why does Somali have more than one word for country

Like Dal and Wadan both mean country, are they meant to be used in different contexts?

Oh I see it's another case of the loanword existing with a native word with the same meaning.
Why you take it as a bad thing, most prospers languages does that.

It make more diverse, like qalbi and wadno both means heart, but wadno used more when referring to the organ and qalbi in romantic/ or metaphorical way

Have you never heard of synonyms? Country, nation, state are all different words for the word country in English.

Is it your first time encountering different words with similar if not same definitions?

Country/Nation, and State have slightly different definitions and are used in different contexts, I'm asking if this is the same for these somali words.
