Will these recent events cause Somalilanders to want to unite with Somalia?

Because of what that idiot muse bixi did there is a real threat of Ethiopia attempting to annex parts of Somaliland..and I think this will be the catalyst for Somalilanders wanting to unite with Somalia again. I have seen many videos from landers opposing what has happened.

I never thought I would hear my father say he would rather SL join back with Somalia over Ethiopia taking over. He has always been a big separatist.

Truth is, the more divided we are as Somalis the easier it is for foreign countries to take advantage as we have seen here. We are stronger together.

My father lost a lot of businesses and family members in the 90s, he was SL advocate since it brought peace and stability, and he lost all respect for the government du backstabbing deal with Ethiopia

My uncle is a clan elder, there is a big push for Awdal to leave SL within the majority of Samaroon, will probably be hearing from the Ugaas soon, there are plenty of stockpiled weapons if things don't go smoothly.

The war in Sool region have made a visible dent on SL's public image and the formation of a Dhulbahante state in whats essentially SL claimed territory didn't bode well with SL officials so to save face and not be remembered as the administration that lost Sool Bixi got into contact with Ethiopia offering them a piece of land for ictiraaf and possibly support in the war to come.

There's also division within Isaaqs but its tilting towards selling land to Ethios, the few who are against this are suppressed or arrested.


As for Samaroon and Ciise(Dir) they are completely against the deal, some paid shills trying to camouflage the recent protests in Awdal as support to the SL regime.
