I feel like they will never leave, to keep Somalia down from having an authority on itself.

Qabiil this qabiil that. Hag this hag that…The only thing keeping the South down is HAG, you only have yourselves to blame.
and you base this off an almost year old outdated thread written by some cadan in the west who has no idea of the real reality on the ground? We are not a real country you know that right? If the UN and ATMIS left right now all hell will break loose.
We are a puppet government that booty claps to different governments for aid.
read this thread.
Reddit is a poor source of information but you're right about the government. I wouldn’t call them puppets but simply propped up fragile institutions. It's clear that we don't have a leader who is willing to make the nation self sufficient. We are not a real country you know that right? If the UN and ATMIS left right now all hell will break loose.

They were literally made by foreign governments trying create “stability” in Somalia.Reddit is a poor source of information but you're right about the government. They won’t be, it’s just typical propaganda. Amisom and the government agreed on a checklist before they leave and on their side they had to vacate the stadium which they did ages ago. The government had to clear a particular road and I think a village or town which they haven’t. They’re going to extend it on 31st December.
Was there any stability before the current administration. The foolish rebels had the opportunity to sit down and create a system but instead became warlords. As much as you and I may dislike the government, they are far better than the anarchy we use to live under. They were literally made by foreign governments trying create “stability” in Somalia.
Nothing sounds more like a puppet government than that.
That’s exactly what you do when you conquer a nation your replace its government with one that you approve of.
I don’t think we can never achieve anything from climbing up the political ladder in somali. It has to be a grass roots movement
Yeah i understand what your saying i wasnt advocating for anarchy i would also rather live in a stable puppet goverment than a soverign shithole. Was there any stability before the current administration. As for foreign influence. I'm sure you can name every nation that isn't controlled by foreign powers on one hand. We live in a globalist world where unless you are a superpower you're a client state.
A grass roots movement would be great but unless the 4.5 system isn't overthrow it'd be a dead end. We're stuck right now focusing on security and until the nation gets its shit together and has a monopoly on violence, we're stuck.
I also know what you mean. Our current state is fucking pathetic but until we get a visionary leader we're stuck with it. I think we should begin a new SYL for the purpose of revolution. Power to the people and leaders that work for the people. Our current administration are puppets as you said but it doesn't mean that future administrators have to also be puppets.Yeah i understand what your saying i wasnt advocating for anarchy i would also rather live in a stable puppet goverment than a soverign shithole.
I honestly think any visionary leader will 100% have people try to take their life away.I also know what you mean. THIS.When General Odawaa and PC Farhan were at the head of the Armed Forces and Police Force, things were looking up, with a specific deadline for the removal of all foreign forces. Every three months newly trained professional Somali soldiers would arrive in the capital and a new batch would be sent to Turkey for training like clockwork, at the same time Camp TURKSOM was also training new batches of Somali soldiers to professional standards to the point where ATMIS in comparison looked like an unprofessional third world force, while the SNA and SPF looked like a NATO style security force.
HSM has not capitalised on that foundation. Instead Odawaa was sacked, while Farhan and many valuable soldiers were killed on his watch. Tragic!

You're right. The people currently in power are some of the most untrustworthy, I wouldn't trust them not to kill a visionary leader for a bribe. It's unfortunate but I think we'll have to wait till this generation is dead till we get someone worthwhile. Best we can do in the meantime is ensure the education of the next generation. A educated class is less likely to fall into the trap of our current administration.I honestly think any visionary leader will 100% have people try to take their life away.
People who benifit from the current social order do want it to change.
