A somali going back home to get married is not like American passport bros. American passport bros talk shit about their women and go specifically to other countries to marry women of a difference ethnicity/ nationality. If you are a somali going to Somalia to find a wife and you treat her respectfully there's no problem.

It’s because those guys that want to marry from back home via social media like to project their inability to find a mate on Somali Western women. Look at @Abdisamad comment of TekNIko who compared Western women to used bikes to suggest they sleep around. @Jammy that is one of the reasons why women will start to insult guys who go back because many of them talk this way. It’s very simple, in life if you don’t want to be insulted, don’t insult people first.

2ndly, many men Western odeys have been using their own homeland and Kenya as some sort of playground in which they marry and divorce women like they’re used trainers. People hearing about stuff like that and the fact that some men talk about women from back home like they’re robots who will do their every command is embarrassing. This is clearly coming from a Western diaspora kid who doesn’t routinely go back. Women back home might have their daily challenges, but many have the ability to chew you and spit you go out.

But lastly, Somali is your country. You’re not a passport Bro for marrying your own people. Getting married back home is normal. Women do it sometimes, men do it all the time. As long as your intentions are to find a lifelong mate and you’re not allowing your bitterness towards Western women not wanting you to take over, then who really cares? A Somali woman is a Somali woman.

I think it’s important for people to make to distinguish between normal faraxs who’re just try’na find someone and the other examples you pointed out, even other somali guys are out here trying to dunk on people who get married to Somalis from back home even in these comments and I find it just weird.

I can't really say anything about it just that quality men from the west want quality women. A quality man doesn't have the same characteristics as a quality woman. As what they seek out from the opposite gender is very different. A man who fails to be a quality man in the west, wants to undergo the metamorphosis and wants to be a provider to his woman, his self worth is directly tied to it, and develops existential fulfillment from it. Going back to somalia seems like they more natural course of action for the less productive somali male, a bid to retain the paradigm and relationship dynamic. Well I don't blame them. A somali woman from the west would be better off from not associating with such a caliber of man imo.

I really don’t believe that all these Somali women are struggling to find people anymore, most Xalimos have people willing to marry them, so I’m not worried in that regard, they’ll settle down eventually.

It’s hardly ever the educated and well paid men that are going back, unless they have businesses. It’s incredibly difficult to have a 9-5 job and have a wife back home unless they’re willing to bring her to the West and many aren’t. It’s usually the Uber drivers and the self employed that spend months abroad and go back and forth. You might get a new group of digital nomads who can do that.
