As it currently stands Somalia is in absolute disarray with a weak and lethargic federal government and “states” that wield more power than they should. This must be resolved quickly if the country wishes to capture for itself a top seat in Africa’s future.
As many of you know :
Of course, none of this is possible without a competent and strong federal government, stability, and economic incentives and insurances. Somalia has squandered a lot of its time, but this decade I believe will either make or break the country. We can either grow to become the African gateway or become split and weak.
As many of you know :
- Somalia as it stands Somalia has the largest coastline on the continental mainland.
- By the end of the century it is projected that the continent will hold nearly 45% of the world population and the largest % young population in the world. It will make Africa the second largest potential consumer base.
- This will make Africa a prime hub for exports from export heavy Asian markets looking to get their goods into Africa (China being the biggest one).
Of course, none of this is possible without a competent and strong federal government, stability, and economic incentives and insurances. Somalia has squandered a lot of its time, but this decade I believe will either make or break the country. We can either grow to become the African gateway or become split and weak.
