Living costs are much higher there.. so it's probably not that much when adjusted for living costs otherwise nobody would work.

I already stated there is an easy solution to this. We need a congress filled with a representative for each clan all sitting equal in power and following a constitution agreed upon by the somali ppl that protects the right of all somali ppl including minorities. The congress of elders will reserve the right to overpower the somali democratically elected leader and will hold the right to use emergency powers to remove the leader in the case of dictatorship as the army majority will in the control of the delegation of congress. The army will be split up equally into squadron from each clan that will pledge their allegiance to their country men first and their leader second. We need to realistically find a way to restrict power for our future leaders and we need to improve education as it makes one incline more towards wisdom than impulse. The reason we fail and europeans succeed is that they oppose dictators at the first hint of corruption, whereas we as muslims don't even have a replacement leader prepared to lead us when the current leader falls (take gaddafi for instance).
