Why I left ash-Shabaab -Defector Ibrahim Natharah- Thread exposing the crimes of the Khawarij

actually AS is more strict ideology wise.

I know, IS purged the hazimis and another faction considered to be "anti-takfiri". IS remains on the manhaj of Turki al-binali. The hazimis followed the doctrine of takfir al adhil, meaning they do not excuse ignorance in takfir, so anyone they takfir must be immediately takfired by everyone else, which naturally leads to takfiring all of the world(which happened as they takfired

As for Zawahiri, there is no Manhaj or proper belief in Islam after Bin Laden died, which is a big reason why Shabaab is the mess it is today, because it is just as "takfiri" as IS, but belongs to an organization that says stuff like this, which is why they don't let their people use the internet:

How is it possible that AQ has a bigger issue with revisionism then the global communist movement lol.

There are old speeches from IS back in 2008 where they said it is obligatory to support Hamas against the Jews. Now they say Hamas is no different from the Jews. Of course in 2008 they were aligned with AQ, so it isn't very shocking they said such things then. It is mildly interesting how much they changed in terms of rhetoric.

So what you are saying is that Kebab is the AQ's version of the Parti Communiste Français?

(The PCF is well known for charging positions on something quickly, for intense revisionism, for not caring about the opinions of non-Frenchmen, for not being literate in the books they claim to uphold, etc etc)

AS: - Contradict their own public stated aims (i.e. abiding by shari'ah, sanctifying Muslim blood etc). - Go against the instructions of Atiyyatullah re. tatarrus (human shielding) & instead trivialize Muslim blood

-Have a cult mentality, which is not based on Islamic wala' & bara', they view themselves as jama'atul Muslimin (main body of Muslims) & based on that kill those who oppose/criticize them.

- Are hasty in takfir, without considering conditions & preventatives

If these actions were carried out by IS we would see AQ (and their fans) up in arms about this, but because they are carried out by their official branch they're lauded instead & their actions blessed. Hypocrisy & double standards. "...or have you immunity in the scripture?
One thing that could ruin shabaab's reputation if it was mainstream is Osama bin laden the OG Aq saying that shabaab were going too far in bombing civilians for no reason and other things

FGS does not know the power of propaganda

International to national Jihadist cycle:

-international fighters build up fighters in one country

-they get victories

-they immediately declare themselves to be a national movement the moment they get land

-find new national jihadists to build up

-cycle repeats

examples: Somalia, Syria, Afghanistan, and Palestine. (they typically let the last one slide for obvious reasons).
shabaab is not foreign, the ideology maybe was but the core and founders were somali

sxb what i meant to say was there were actually debates between hazimis and binalis in daesh. AS wouldnt allow debates like they did. bin laden had ikhwanist influences which helped reduce the takfir. binali had less. binali left the ashari vs hanbali issues. binali himself called ghazali as xujjatul islam. the hazimis didnt have ikhwanism. they takfir harder than bin laden and and harder than binali and their stance on asharis is more classical salafi wahhabi.
