I do actually. But Djibouti is an actual country. I go to countries on a djiboutian passport if I want, my nationality is Djibouti also. I'm pretty sure you look at the nationality of your parents on your birth certificate it ain't saying "Somalilander" nor is there even a flag emoji for it.

I'm not yet a Somali national I still need to pay for that.

IRL I just Say Somali that's what everyone knows. Unless ina French space people actually know what Djibouti is. And when I'm with other Somalis I'd say I'm Ciise and Djiboutian

Djibouti is a country since 1977. We didn't annex ourselves into Somalia because by the time we got independence Siad barre the socialist took over and our first president Aptidon was a hard anti communist. And also since our vote to join somalia in 1967 the Afars and French have been fighting against us Ciise.

When we Ciise voted to join Somalia in 1967 they changed the name from "French Somaliland" to "Territory of the Afar and Issa" and tried to force a new nation. We didn't buy into that shit. That's why I despise any of this "Somalilander" "Puntlander" bullshit. I know it all ties back to western states.

When the ajnabi who push the hardest for Somaliland are English, Americans, ethiopians, Kenyans. Who are in their best interest to fight a unified Somali state. You can guess why I dislike the idea of an SL. It's a backdoor for the foreigners.

Cisse terre a nous lol but yeah we have a country but I’m sure most of our families were originally from the northern part of Somali and dir Dhaba. My family have houses in Dir Dhaba but it’s that place has been taken over by oromos and you don’t see a lot of Somalis going there in the summer like before…

My mother uses to always take the train To dir dhaba from Djibouti for holiday in the 80s and early 90 when it was proper somali city. Now much of my family there left for Djibouti or some other Somali city like jigjiga. The ethiopian immigrants are taking over due to its strategic importance.

My ayeeyo also used to go around baadiya in sool sanaag back in the 50s for holiday also. How times have changed. Somalis are a lot weaker and divided now. Our land being eaten up bit by bit we don't even notice.

Well to be fair all those little made up countries are clan enclaves. SL should be called issaqland. Puntland should be majerteenia and so on. Djiboutis is ciiseland. Awdal and khatumo deserve independence too cus theyre missing out.
