I don’t see how separation itself helps the south as much as it does for SL and PL.

There are so many clans and lots of places that are multi clan cities. How would it be resolved as to who leads?

The issue holding back Somalia is lack of national trust. No one believes a Somali of another clan will give them justice or represent their interest. Qabiil states do nothing to address this problem. They have peace - but that’s only because they’re homogenous in their power share. And even then tensions can rise. Even within harti dhulbahante could not find footing in PL. So how would it look for ever laf and jilib of every clan to have its own state.

I can’t even begin to understand just how stupid this idea is. Do you seriously think PL, SL, JL etc will become developed just because they’re now independent? You say they should form a bloc but what if these breakaway regions don’t want to?

How are you going to guarantee that they cooperate and not just have a full on war in the horn and have the UN descend in. What happens if these nations break up even more?

Would there not be a scramble for power to become the new dictator in these newly established countries?

Puntland, and somaliland have developed much better than the south, They dont need Mogadishu it's been 30 years, and none of them have split futhermore sl and pl havent had war in years... mogadoshu federal republic has been a failed state for 40 years.
