Couple of my gaalo friends, I and this Arab girl who's new to the friend group were watching some gay movie about taking a test that calculates how in love a couple is, and right on fucking que. The female character fucks her male colleague. Nobody seemed to bat an eyelid until I drew their attention to how repugnant that shit was.
It made me realise how fucking pervasive this troupe is in media. One of the most successful "love stories" in cinema history, The Notebook, is essentially about some slag who cheats on her fiancee, who just fought in World War 2 mind you, with some jobless alcoholic twat who spends 10years building a house ffs

There's also this weird double standard/pattern with this specific troupe. Everytime a male character does it, he's "emotionally immature, weak" blah f*ck blah. But when it's the female lead fucking random geezas, the movie or tv-show tries to make you sympathize with her and tries to offer you some sort of a moral justification. "You can't control who love" is their go to.
She's not a , "she's just not having her needs fulfilled". She's not a cheating sharmuta, "her boyfriend/husband just wasn't a good match and couldn't really appreciate her for who she was" lol
It's fucking WILD, the closer you observe this shit, the more transparent the dictor/screen-writters intentions are.
