Why do tv-shows & movies romanticize cheating/infidelity?

Maybe because men cheat a whole lot more and that’s socially more acceptable and movies in many ways like to be subversive with regards to reality and movies aren’t the best morality wise. It’s Hollywood for goodness sake.

Most men are invisible to women, forget about cheating they’re having a hard time finding a mate.

Hence why you have mainstream, red pill, black pill, mgtow, passport bros.

And furthermore in the gynocentric society we live in, it’s no longer shameful for a women to sleep around.

And cuckoldry is now fashionable with gaalo as a way to strengthen a marriage or a long term relationship.

But the movie The Notebook is about the power “imprinting” has on women, disguised as love.

A subject which you fiercely debated against. Shows how much you know dear.

Couple of my gaalo friends, I and this Arab girl who's new to the friend group were watching some gay movie about taking a test that calculates how in love a couple is, and right on fucking que. The female character fucks her male colleague. Nobody seemed to bat an eyelid until I drew their attention to how repugnant that shit was.

It made me realise how fucking pervasive this troupe is in media. One of the most successful "love stories" in cinema history, The Notebook, is essentially about some slag who cheats on her fiancee, who just fought in World War 2 mind you, with some jobless alcoholic twat who spends 10years building a house ffs :heh: :heh:

There's also this weird double standard/pattern with this specific troupe. Everytime a male character does it, he's "emotionally immature, weak" blah f*ck blah. But when it's the female lead fucking random geezas, the movie or tv-show tries to make you sympathize with her and tries to offer you some sort of a moral justification. "You can't control who love" is their go to.

She's not a , "she's just not having her needs fulfilled". She's not a cheating sharmuta, "her boyfriend/husband just wasn't a good match and couldn't really appreciate her for who she was" lol

It's fucking WILD, the closer you observe this shit, the more transparent the dictor/screen-writters intentions are.
If you ever watched Jarhead the whole war movies sub plot is how army men leave and their wives cheat on them. Granted I don't feel bad for them since they're Americans in Iraq but even in their war films they have it.

This place is truly fascinating wallahi, a quick post about the way infidelity is protrayed in media has somehow turned into shit-flinging gender war complete with stats of men cheating more and a biochemistry lecture lol

I'm not just a film fag ranting in blog posts about the subservie nature of modern cinema, I also lift and spar twice a week. Can you go back to you seeing me as rugged again please walalo, pretty please? :chrisfreshhah: :chrisfreshhah:
:wow1:I co-signed when you were a deflated skinny farax in tune with your femininity.
You changed post-pandemic - less available, more independent and far too mobile now. I'm not too fond of those characteristics. Also, don't you miss "Notting Hill"? :stressed:
