Why do Somali women

In Somalia wear the niqab? It's not just the old women , the young girls too . It's fashionable to them, I don't think they wear it to be modest. I have seen videos of them at parties in Mogadishu doing harami booty shaking.

It's so the dust from the sand doesn't get in to your eyes and to be anonymous at night

Very few ppl wear the niqab for religious reasons in Somalia from what i've seen it's either an accessory or used for anonymity.
