I know a somali guy who was valedictorian in middle school and high school and is averaging high 80s in neurology, my cousin has been in honours every year of highschool and just finished his degree in pharmaceuticals and landed a job. Most Somali girls I know get a basic degree only to marry someone and not work again.

There should be a balance between the arts and stem. If groups go too much into stem only you get weird societies like China.

I was referring to the Somalis with a good degree. But of course there’s plenty of Somalis as taxi drivers in Europe and in the US/Canada.
