No I’m just stating what I see in my daily life, Somalis will help everyone else but when it comes to their own we never build together. Just look at the state of our country

It not all doom and gloom I get my perspective from looking through history most places have gone through worse than we have and have made major come backs. This is just somalia's down time. We will rise very soon and in this industry specifically its dominated by Asians. This is somalis networking with Asians to get access to Asian spaces. This post is just fake outrage from people who don't understand the tech industry. Not including Asians is shooting yourself in the foot.
Who do you think dominates the tech sector? It's good to bring in diverse voices to discuss topics in their field of expertise. I swear people nowadays just love to get angry at anything. Social media has rotted your brains.

She is cool with Fufus, so not all ajnabis as far as I know. I remember her once bashing AAs and Caribbeans, and we've asked her what about Fufus. She didn't say a beep. We've asked her again, and she still didn't say a beep. So those Fufus are cool at her end.

we will have to wait for her to reply. Anyway letting in Nigeria would be something to actually complain about which doesn't really apply to Asians since they control the industry
The number of Somalis in tech is so small, how are we supposed to network with them? also, I know barely any Somali that has a good start up lol.

I think you went a bit harsh there.I was going to mention this earlier but forgot. Why are there asians all up in the somalis in tech meeting/event?
Asians have so much support in these fields from their own but somalis are dumb! They even had one promoting his company, uff! We should be promoting somali start ups not asian! They treat black people, yes somalis included, so badly here in the US tech field and call us “diversity hires” but somalis inviting them to groups for us!
But to an extent, I have to agree with you.
I have never in my life seen a somali founder or invested advertising his product to a different community unless they have some investment in it. That it.

Yeah, I speak and write more Japanese than Somali. I am a descendant of the minamoto clan's Uda Genji subclan through my mother. My maternal grandfather also had links to one of the Genji(Minamoto) clans. I visit them every other summer. My father is a Mechanical Engineer from K5 originally Alleybaday, Somalia. I speak a decent amount of Somali and I am still improving. I consider myself Somali but I make sure not to forget that I am also Japanese. My Somali features are slightly recognizable but for the most part I look nothing like an asian except for my wavy hair. Alhamudidlah, my mother converted before I was born so they made sure I was brought up with Islam.
