It is relative when you say I am close minded. To you, objection to baseless scripture, teaching, or religion is being close minded whereas people with common sense understand that an individual can decline and object to anything in exchange for accepting only the truth. This isn't a debate. They probably didn't have a choice because it was die or become on of us. A ruling class of the Somalis forced natives into Islam. I love my religion. You're ignoring and skipping over the millions of native Somalis that converted to Islam out of fear of being killed. Why deny that they had you in chains and forced you to accept Islam. You're also underestimating how dangerous it was for a non-believer or a pagan to live amongst believers during that time.

Go read a book for once that isn't writtien by Ibn AbdulWahab or Ibn Baz Salafi boy.Check Sada Miire's recent book and her previous SL study. More then enough evidence from burial grounds to artifacts that showed Somalis from the North practiced Coptic Ethiopian Christianity

They could have been missionaries Somalis afforded a burial out of respect. There is no oral or recorded history of Somali tribes belonging to a religion other than Islam. We would have read poems extolling the virtues of Christianity saxib handed down to us through our forefathers. Islam on the other hand, always got coverage in poetry among Somalis.

I don't see Somalis in chains being enslaved in the article. And the year is 2009. How does this article align with your claim of Arabs massively converting Somalis to Islam forcefully? Match your claims with your supposed evidence.
