I think it's the anonymity generally those who are rude on the net do it because they ain't able to speak up irl which just means there most likely cowards who suppress all the abuse they accept from the people around them and then they come online to vent and lash out on randoms because this is the only place they feel safe to act big and bad.

Don't take any of it personally just look at those people as small, sad, hurt people irl

Me personally I'm never offended by words directed at me no matter how extreme online and irl. I only react if things are made physical.

You just heard calmone she got kicked out by her parents. That likely means she doesn't have a hooyo to go to for unconditional positive feedback. Plus sensitivity is a good thing the prophet was sensitive and he made the sahaba sensitive people. You should be mindful of what you say especially online since you don't know the situation a person is going through on the otherside. Plus that's sinning all the same for no reason. Do you really want to potentially end up in hell based of what you said to a random online?
It doesn't hurt being nice. Plus you can get reward out of it and it could be the one thing that could potentially get you into heaven.
