I think many don't realised that you personally growth from your investment or business can be productive and out performe the uk economy but you'll still feel the UK stagnation. More of your taxes are taken while the infrastructure, public service(police cuts, longe waiting time for basic healthcare) and so on get ever worse.

Its been stagnation since 2008 the British neoliberal economic model is broken and wages for professionals is stagnant GDP per capita was literally higher in 2007 than it is now

In general Britan has had piss poor economic policy since the Anglo American loan
