That’s true but in the end it’s another person’s language. By your logic Somali people aren’t allowed to call Americans “Mareykans” or english people “Ingriisi”. If you want people to call you by a noun from your own language then you’re gonna have to call everyone else a noun from their own language. Don’t call Indians Indians, call them Hindi, call spanish people Españols, and etc. What’s even worse is that a lot of you guys get mad when someone calls you somalian as if they’re trying to insult you. Just now you have @Jimmer and @Yukon_Niner giving me Qashins because I told them “Somalians” is grammatically correct.

Nigga no one cares if we get called something like "Somalier" why you ask? Because it's correct in another language. In English we are called Somali's not Somalians.

War heede post your source stating Somalian is correct, everything I've ever seen says Somali is the right term. Hell journalists almost always use Somali.

Those names wouldn't make sense in an English language due to them being harder to pronounce

It's already been established that somalis is an English word and has been widely used among certain predominantly white areas and media
It even has less syllables which makes it easier on the tongue

I just checked and apparently “Somali” is grammatically correct. I could have sworn just last month I saw “Somalian” was correct. I guess I was wrong mb. @Jimmer and @everyonelse you guys were right I apologize :(
