Any time anyone says “somalian” instead of “somali”, they ape out. Don’t they realize that every language has its own grammatical rules? In english any word that ends in “ia” will become “ian” i.e:
Scandinavia - Scandinavian
Ethiopia - Ethiopian
India - Indian
Nigeria - Nigerian
Only in the Somali language is “I am Somali” grammatically correct. Imagine if a spanish person got triggered everytime someone called them spanish instead of “español” or a french man gets mad when someone calls him french instead of “français”. Don’t expect everyone to change their language just because you’re not used to it. I’m sure almost every nation has their own way of saying Somalian in their own language, and their own country in their own language. If you want everyone to call you somali then call everyone by their proper names too.
