Why are somali women used as a rewarding price for converts

The men are the one who set the value of their women. So if they're cheap, it's because we made them cheap. Who's the one who gives the girl for marriage?

Civil wars, instability,and no father in her life, can make them really cheap.

I dont think this has to do with civil wars and instability, because even the Balkans went through civil war yet this this doesnt happen.

More so recently iraqis and syrians went through hell which Somalis didn’t, they outnumber the somalis in the west yet they don’t offer women for rewarding price.

So what would be your explanation since it’s not war that causes this.

See syrians/iraqis most refugees that come to the west are brought as whole families. But in the middle east, they've become very easy to get.


Why in the middle east and not in the west you may ask, because the father and men in the family have either died or are dirt poor, they're ok with any muslim man who wants to marry their daughter. Even Dabcasar got in on the action and married 2 Syrians.

Ultimately it's in the father's hand to give his daughter for marriage. But as we know, Arabs/Indians etc have low divorce rates and have a strong say on who their daughter will marry. With us, if the father divorces, he makes a new family and completely forgets his old family. And even when there's a father, he'll still make it very easy for her to get married to the convert.

Culturally as well, some have developed this habit of making it harder for Somalis to get married to each other but make it easier for ajanib.
