Why are most notable western Somali figures women

Ilhan Omar, Ayan Hirsi Ali, Sada Mire, Ilwan Elman, Ramla Ali, Deqa Dhelac etc.
There seems to be a very clear pattern of media focusing on young Somali women as a representation of Somalia, why is this? This doesn't happen to other Muslim ethnicities like Arabs or south Asians

I may be wrong but it's highly unlikely
No somali is as famous as Mo farah. Ilhan Oman can be debated but I’d say she is second. And as for the rest of them, im pretty sure chunkz and Barkhad Abdi are more known than them lol. you should have mentioned Iman the model or Halimo Aden. They are better known than those randoms. Only ones I recognised apart from Ilhan Omar are Ayan Hirsi and Ramla Ali. Although somali women tend to do better career wise and academically than somali men

Chunkz and Barkhad Abdi are good examples but they're still outnumbered and tend to only dwell in the entertainment industry
If Somali men want to represent Somalis on the international stage, lead and compete with other men from other ethnicities instead of fighting each other or focusing on what women are doing. Who is stopping you from representing Somalis in a positive light?
How loaded, just an observational study

I’ve been stumbling on social media to see if the self hate rumours were true.... and the amount of hate and slander I’ve endured by the women was immense and the amount of β€œJ” words Somali men used
is quite funny but also embarrassing to our community.

but Iβ€˜m still applauding in the amount of work Somali women do, and also the men. πŸ‘πŸΎ
