Its just better for them to be born on US soil and take them to somalia when they are young. Guaranteed citizenship. no one knows if they might be accpeted as exchange students. I prefer a gurantee route than one that isn't.

I went to Xamar last year December and the amount of English speaking people there is insane. I thought I was in Minnesota.

There are entire neighbourhoods filled with diaspora people. One famous one being Dar es salam.
The houses were big and gorgeous. The place has 24/7 surveillance and roaming security troops. They also had supermarkets that was filled with western stuff.

Realistically speaking, Africa as a whole does not have many job opportunities for the youth therefore I would rather stay in the UK and work till I am able to retire in Somalia.

May Allah make Somalia strong and successful for our sake.

Somalis are creatures of habit Dadkaan Wa layska dhiciyaa sxb. My uncle has been going back and forth since A/Yusuf presidency days still trying to get his house back in viya Uganda in waabeeri!

Will you be relocating to Somalia in the near future? If so, why? If not, why not?

Personally I plan to return when Alshabab is gone, which should be within the next three years when I finish my bachelor's and master's degrees, inshallah. I've always felt that I don't belong here; I have this dream to be a teacher or create a library, or own a bookshop, and live my life as a wife and mother back home in my farmhouse.

The same people who came as iyaals before the civil war (forget about at its height) were saying the same thing but they're still here now walking with canes.

Almost all that go home go for 3 months retirements during the harsh winters (they don't even do 6 months anymore) or some who are disillusioned with western life but come back after a year and no longer spew anti-west talking points.

People die on the high seas leaving that place and begging relatives to sponsor them. There's nothing there.

Literally this country is a spot of hell, Life is unfair . Some of people are born in Europe, America and East Asia, and others are born in Somalia and Africa and those poor countries

Different people have different preferences. I guess I want to live where my forefathers did. I've never felt at home in the West.

People don't often leave Europe to go back to their ancestral land. The exceptions are the European jews who left Germany and much of Europe to go back to Palestine and build Israel, and this was because they suffered a holocaust that nearly wiped out their people.

So basically most of you who say you will return are talking bullshit (to be polite).
