Who were the best generals of war?

He was not as tactiful and did not face as very bad odds as the first generals I mentioned. I mean, I have no beef with him. Stop bringing the prophet into this .

You are bashing his Sahabi, what you mean don't bring him into it? Im giving you facts and you are disrespecting a Sahabi and calling incompetent. Either you are munafiq or you are jaahil.

I am telling the truth, he was not as competent as the three I mentioned earlier. That is not a disrespect.

You didn't even compare him, you just straight up called him incompetent. btw, even if he was incompetent, the way you are bad mouthing him is just disrespectful. Walaahi you have no shame. I still don't think you are Muslim. You might be Munafiq and not even know. Go read ibn Qayyim boom on Munafiq people and see if you can see yourself there. All your posts are anti-Islam.

This guy proved his military tactics by the treaty with the USSR and then the defeat of France and UK in 1940. He also invaded Norway and Denmark before the British can get there. Germany had little oil and not much resources yet he still managed to conquer Germany and Austria in a few seconds practically. Hitler was a great military leader who fought against very high odds and lost. He would have completed much more but he fucked up because time wasn't on his side. I doubt that his generals would have saved Germany after 1943.
An american who knows something outside US?

Lol, don’t say hitler or Khalid ibn Walid. Both were very incompetent and bad generals.
:mjlol: At the Kim dynasty.

The fact that you call him (Khalid ibn Walid) incompetent clearly shows how bias and ignorant you are. He came out victorious in nearly hundred battles while being outnumbered in most of them and he never lost a single one. His tactics used in wars are well documented, with some of them being crucial in deciding the winner. He is considered among historians to be one of the best generals in history and I have yet to come across one that calls him a 'bad' general.

Compared to the three mentioned above, he is bad.

what are their odds and masterful tactics that makes Khalid's look incompetent?
He was good, but did not face as bad odds as Hannibal, Alexander and Julius. The empires he attacked (sassanid and Byzantine) were already in life support.

It could be true that long wars between sassanid and Byzantine empire did give them an advantage but you should know that they were outnumbered in most cases while the sassanid and Byzantine had superior experience in battlefield and arms in comparison with the muslims, who majority consisted of bedouin.

Now how bad could the odds have been of the generals you named such that it would make Khalid look 'bad'?

1- Julius Caesar- faced and conquered Gaul for the Roman republic. He was always outnumbered and one of this battles was Alesia, it was like a Miracle, Julius faced more than 300000 men with only 75 000 in which he killed 2500000, he used fences and decimated the Gauls which led their leader to surrender in humiliation.

he also faced Pompey Magnus( one of Rome’s best generals) in the Roman civil war and was still outnumbered by him, but due to his trick of decieving pompey’s cavalry, he decimated him which made him the sole Ruler of Rome. Of course, he did not rule much as a dictator since he was killed by senators.

2- Hannibal of Carthage- he marched on Rome itself, always outnumbered and even the great Roman legions could stop until he conquered north of Italy and was defeated near Rome, he was about to end the whole republic.

3- Alexander- probably the greatest general, he was young but very capable, he destroyed the Persian empire into pieces. The mighty Persian empire with its huge army had nothing on the Macedonian army.
