@Dr.Xayawaan absolutely thats why I suggested it especially if we want to restore our country back to something that resembles a functioning state by taking it away from the inept and corrupt leaders
Getting the support in the diaspora will be the easy bit, but as for going over there it will be a lot harder as it's based on a tribal system and you will need blessings from various clan elders to progress.
Also the constant threat of al shaabab is an issue on its own as these nutcases target anyone that gets involved in somalia's political system.
It is easy to shift power from elders and corrupt politicians ones you can tackle the unemployment. Start small by building a factory in a stable region in the name of economy building. Give the locals work in that factory. Build up from there and the public is going to rally behind you. It is as simple as that. You can call the organisation the somali diaspora economic party. While building up this network you can use it in many ways. Gather intelligence by bugging the factories. Building schools to shape the minds of the young. And so forth to a stable nation
And that's why I suggest a secret club, that does everything behind the scene.
Clan elders and alshabaab are a bunch of low IQ untermensch.
A bulk of the population are qabilist, you may give them work to change their current economical situation, but once their bellies are full can you guarantee an effective solution which will keep them interested and not rebel against you simply because you favour unionism ?
Isaaq, hawiye and darod all have their internal issues, Somalia has always been a tribal society, what you said is smart but you need to know how to keep all tribes at bay and happy to coexist with each other without corruption or favouritism.
I know, however a strong economy unites people including our crazy tribal people.
With an strong economy safeguarded by the government there will be no reason for tribal militia alliances to protect certain clans and territories. The government will take control over that. Simply said Strong economy with a strong government equals no petty tribal feuds that massacre people.
At the moment a tribal society is needed because there is no national reconciliation. Tribes still mad at each other. Give their population wealth and 80% of these nonsense disappears
It could disappear but history repeats itself, it would come back in the form of greed, animosity or just pure jealously.
A strong economy might be a short-term solution but not a long-term solution for general unity and advancement as a nation together.
It's human nature to be greedy and wanting everything for yourself- this has destroyed nations before so the majority need to be on the same path for any progression.
Qabil has been around for a very long time, people cannot suddenly put it to the side and reconcile without any reasonable guidelines, there has to be a solution were all qabils and regions get along and want to move forward.
That is why we need a strong governmemt and law of the land. The tribes aren't going anywhere it is impossible to get rid of them. There needs to be a system in place that ensures that the tribes are respected but also peaceful.
Knowing Somalis are hot-headed, how many will follow that rule ?.
There's bound to be hard-core extremist qabilist who would want to cause riots and unrest because they don't like other clans.
Somalis are hot heads because of their situations. Did we have these petty battles with each other during medieval times when the bulk of the settled somalis were wealthy no. The environment they are in makes them that way. Change the environment which changes the outcome. We are not only known for being hotheads but also many other things like: kind hospitable and many more when we are not crossed.
And in the case of a clan militia creating havoc send the proper autorities. Ones you got an unbiased security force approved by somalis you can squash these extremist nutjobs in a heartbeat. For example Danab would be perfect in this situation since they don't have tribal loyalties.
Do you believe this new generation of educated diaspora Somalis can do all of this?
Too late for elders. But we can educate the youngest generation about leaving Qabil behind. Even the arabs had tribes and they succeeded into leaving it behind and building something. Don't know what's wrong with somalis wallahi.
