Yeah, I do think I’m romanticizing the whole idea of living in Somaliland though. As someone who grew up in the West with a different lifestyle and mentality, it definitely won’t be easy to adjust to their lifestyle

I didn’t say that there is no stress! I said that I THINK that life over there is less stressful. Someone who studied in the west and finds a suitable job there will most likely have a good income. There are no taxes. You only pay for your own expenses. And another thing that would bring a lot of joy to my life is the sunny weather...

That is true. Life over there is definitely chill. I spent a holiday there and it is comfortable for a Diasporan who has a bit of money. I worry about becoming bored though. No cosmopolitan comforts are to be found there.

For context, I was speaking about Somaliland. I've not seen the rest of the country.

I'd consider it seriously after achieving my goals here.

Just read books and watch Netflix.
